Alan Hahn

Alan Hahn, beloved brother husband, father, grandfather and dog grandfather, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was born in Romania on October 12, 1945 and moved to the United States at 2 where he remained in the Washington, DC metro area for the remainder of his life. Alan is survived by his wife of 54 years Joan (Goldberg) Hahn; children Ilene and husband Kurt Miller and Alisa and husband Stephen DiStaso, sister Alexandra Hahn and husband David Chesterton and grandchildren Alex Miller and Chloe DiStaso. Alan was the consummate salesman, and an amazing photographer. He fiercely loved his family (and the family dogs), loved music of all kinds and was an avid Redskins fan. He will be missed by all who came in contact with him.

The funeral service will be at Olam Tikvah synagogue at 3800 Glenbrook Road, Fairfax, VA 22031 at 1 PM on Tuesday October 25, with a graveside service at 2 PM at King David Memorial Gardens – 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. Reception will be immediately following at 5829 Oak Leather Drive, Burke VA 22015 and shiva will be at same location on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 8 PM.
