Daryl Leander Smith

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Daryl Leander Smith, 64

of Arlington, Virginia on July 12, 2024. The late Mr. Smith is preceded in

 death by his father Daniel Smith and brother Wayne Smith. He is 

survived by devoted wife: Donna L. Smith; daughter: DaRell Smith; 

mother: Edna Hazel Smith Crabbe; two brothers: Markham and 

Michael (Patricia) Smith; two brothers-in-law: Ray (Mona) and 

Bryan Washington; three Sisters-in-law: Judy Gray, Elaine Weems, 

and Penny Washington; aunt: Florine Newton Thompson; uncle: 

Lucius (Mary) Newton; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, 

great-grandniece, and a host of other family and friends.

Service will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 at

Alfred Street Baptist Church 

 301 South Alfred Street, Alexandria, VA 

Visitation with family 10:00-11:00 AM Ÿ Service at 11:00 AM

Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 

Zion Baptist Church/Cemetery 

1274 Zion Church Road, Kinsale, VA
