Dr. Richard Resnick

Dr. Richard Resnick, 72, of Clifton, Virginia passed away on July 12, 2023 after a brief illness. Rich was born on April 1, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York. Rich met and fell in love with his wife, Alice, when he was 16 years old. Last month, they celebrated their 50 th wedding anniversary. Rich and Alice were inseparable and he spent his lifetime taking care of her. Rich was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend, and doctor. He loved nothing more then spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching his New York Yankees win, taking pictures and organizing photo albums from his favorite vacations with his family- Walt Disney World and cruising. His greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter, Lizzie. He was a dedicated podiatrist in the Burke community for 45 years and beloved sports physician at George Mason University.

Rich was predeceased by his mother, Betty Resnick and his father, Nathan Resnick. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Resnick; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime and Robert Boyd; daughter, Tracy Resnick; granddaughter, Lizzie Boyd; twin brother, Robert Resnick and sister-in-law, Elaine Resnick; in-laws, Wendy and Bobby Teitel; beloved nieces and nephews; and granddogs, Belle and Lottie.

Services will be held graveside on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1 pm at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, VA.
