Elsie Lee Slaustas “Nanny”

Elsie Lee Slaustas “Nanny” age 90, of Alexandria, VA, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 18, 2022.

She was born February 28, 1932, in Amherst VA, a daughter of the late Peditt Fitzgerald and Fronie Maddox.

Elsie was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Cash, three children Wayne, Joe, Donna, five miracle babies and seven siblings.

Elsie is survived by her husband of 45 years David Slaustas, Son n Law Mike, and seven grandchildren, Angela (Terance), Amanda (Mel), Michael, Rhonda, and three others. Great Grandchildren Tasia, TJ, Armand, Aniyah, Ari, Mel Jr, Crissy, Lacy, Shelby, George, James, Colton, and several others.

She also leaves many other family members including Three Brothers Mac, Jimmy, and Denver, Four sisters, Claudia, Julia, Betty, and Livern, great nephew Shawn, great nieces Heather (Kyle) Hailey (Josh) and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 30th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at
Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m.

Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Comfort Cemetery,
6600 South Kings Highway Alexandria, VA 22306
