Jermaine Alfonso Robinson

Jermaine “Jay” Robinson, 50 years old, passed away in Alexandria, Virginia, on Sunday, June 2, 2024. 

Jermaine was born January 11, 1974, in Fairfax, Virginia. He was a man of God whose smile and light were infectious. Jermaine cherished his loved ones.

A lifelong athlete, he reveled in sharing his enthusiasm for fitness in coaching others and performing as “Dirty Money” in his professional wrestling career. 

Jermaine is survived by his devoted wife Melissa, two sons Micah and Isaiah, his mother Sheila and dad Timothy, his two sisters Monica and Tiffany, brother Jonathan and sister Angela. His father David, Grandma Helen, and sister Natasha. He is also survived by his nephew Matthew, niece Mia, a bundle of other nieces and nephews. His in-laws Barbara and Rick and a host of family members and friends who love him deeply. 

Known for his quiet strength, Jermaine loved his family and friends intensely. He enjoyed taking trips, exploring new places and experiences, and reflecting on his blessings, especially with Melissa and loved ones. He appreciated classical music just as he did football and cheering on the Steelers. Jermaine was an amazing leader in the fitness industry building teams while also, creating a family and changing people’s lives. He was an avid Zumba enthusiast who loved to teach. While his first athletic pursuits started with basketball, Jermaine became a star wrestler whose passion led him to travel to many places, and most importantly transported him into the hearts of his loyal fans, who would travel everywhere to watch Dirty Money hit the ring.

Jermaine’s generous nature, wit and extraordinary flair will be dearly remembered, and deeply missed, by all who knew him. In every sense of the word, he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and coach.
