Sansalonedeceased and survived by his older sister,Judith Sansalone of Old Town, Alexandria.John was a joyful, bright light in our lives and he taught us many lessons—how to find happiness in difficult circumstances, how to live joyfully and how to embrace others who may be different from ourselves.A happy, sweet spirit, John loved all –people, animals, music especially, his harmonica, his many hats, especially his Redskins ones and dancing.He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.He will be cremated after a private viewing and remembrance on Thursday,August 27 at the Cunningham Turch Funeral Home in Old Town, Alexandria.The family asks for your prayers and, in lieu of flowers, donations to the following organizations: Shared Horizons at www.shared-horizons.org National Downs Syndrome Society at www.ndss.org
