KRYSTAL JOSETTE AGNES SMITH
1989 – 2018
Died suddenly in her sleep at her home in Fairfax, VA on
November 22, 2018 (Thanksgiving Day).
Born at Arlington Hospital, in Arlington, VA in June 1989. Krystal spent most of her school years in the Fairfax County Public Schools system. She briefly attended Garfield High School in Woodbridge, VA before graduating from Falls Church High School in 2007.
Determined to make her mark in life. Krystal put 150% into everything she did. She was working 2 jobs as a Customer Service Manager at Harris Teeter and a Associate at Ulta, both while striving to complete her Bachelor of Science degree with the American Military University and pursuing her career as a model.
After the passing of her father in 2017, Krystal briefly moved to Jacksonville, NC for a period of time to be closer to his family. While in NC, Krystal assisted her Aunt with the care of US soldiers returning home from overseas and transitioning back into civilian life.
Much to the dismay of her mother, Krystal was a avid Washington Redskins Fan, Krystal loved to bowl and had a natural talent. She could roll a 200+ game without effort. She enjoyed event/party planning for her family, friends and colleagues. And running shotgun to her Mom with the Touch of Class Social Club of Washington DC and Eastern Light Getaways.
Krystal was pre deceased by her father Robert Lee Smith, Grandfather Joseph Sunny Smith, Uncle Joseph Lewis Smith, Grandmother Agnes B. Conway, Grandfather Louis B. Conway and Brother Rodney Kevin Williams Jr.
Krystal leaves behind to celebrate her life her mother Linda Pearson-Broadus, Stepmother Kimberly Enerson-Smith, Grandmother Mary Smith, Four Sisters Caprice Williams, Kimberly Jewell (Jeremy), Dionne Pearson (Craig) and Devon Smith. Two brothers Gabriel Smith and Isaiah Smith. Four nieces, Dannon, Christina, Adrienne & Jordyn. Two nephews, Rodney & Craig Jr., Three Aunts, Sabrina Boyd (John), Karol Smith-Davis (John) & Anna Maria Smith Martin. Two Uncles Daniel Pritchard & David Pritchard and a host cousins. family and loving friends.
Krystal went out of her way to make everyone she knew feel special. She had a zest for life that glowed within her and an eternal love for every life she touched.. She knew the power of a hug and a smile with her deep dimples. She will truly be missed by all she knew.
Krystal leaves a real legacy as a tissue/organ donor with the Washington Regional Transplant Community. Her donation will affect change on many lives for the better.
