Larry Wayne Self, Sr.

Larry Wayne Self Sr. passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021, at the age of 76.

He was born to Henry and Virginia (Anderson) Self on February 28, 1945. A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Larry attended George Washington High School and The George Washington University.

At The George Washington University, he served as president of both the Delta Tau Delta fraternity and the Interfraternity Council. He went on to be President of Capital Asam Wallcovering, President of the national Wallcoverings Association, and Vice President of Duron Paints and Wallcoverings. He was also a dear friend and mentor at WolfGordon and Weichert, Realtors.

He is survived by his children, Meredith Self, Kimberly Clark, and Larry Self Jr, by his grandchildren, Chad, Amma, Cassidy, Matthew, Maggie, Maclane, and Eli, by his siblings Susan, Tom, Mike, David, and Paul, and by his dear friend Hannelore.
