Lavada A. Newton

On January 11, 2010 in Alexandria, VA. She retired as an accountant with the U.S. Government and worked as a travel agent. She was a member of Women Extrordinaire in San Diego, CA. LaVada is survived by her daughter, Norma Moore; her son, Kenneth Newton; three grandchildren, James Hill, Keir Pitts, and Vida Newton; and three great grandchildren, Keir Pitts, Jr., Malaya Hill, and Destiny. A celebration of Lavada?s life will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 11am to 12 pm at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA where funeral services will be held at 12 pm. Interment will be private.
