Lewis Casey Bellamy, “popularly” known as Lou, was called to Eternal rest on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his Jacksonville, Fl. home surrounded by Family and Friends.Lou was born on August 29, 1952 to Samuel and Hattie Bellamy in Washington D.C. He was the fifth of nine siblings. Educated in Arlington County.Lou received an Honorable discharge from the United States Army. Lou spent his employment driving trucks, spending his last year driving for Walt’s Wrecker in Jacksonville, Florida. Lou enjoyed his Walt Family.Lou enjoyed entertaining friends and family, fishing even though he never caught the BIG one, playing games such as his favorite, scrabble, chess and playing cards. He also enjoyed riding around with and entertaining his dog “Brown”. He was heartbroken when Brownie had to be put down this past February.At an early age Lou and his siblings attended Macedonia Baptist Church. Lou knew and loved the Lord. He and his wife prayed daily that God’s will be done.Lewis Casey Bellamy is survived by his Wife; Mavis Bellamy, Children; Kyndra Richard, Edward, two step children Pete, Jennifer; grandchildren, Kyndra Heather, Sadie, Chelsea and Kacy Edward Z’Kayah and Jason, Pete Ciara, Jennifer Desi and Lester Jr. great grandkids; Aryanna, Jailynn, Amiya, Mayson, Eli, Ryan and Liam.He is also survived by his siblings; Jeanette Daye Charles, Leroy Loreen, Nathan deceased, Barbara Smith Wayne deceased, Donna, Dennis deceased Claudia, Michael Simone, Wanda deceased Lawrence, Karim Marvin Harris, Uncles; Werten Bellamy Aunts; Aunt Blanche Terry, Charlotte Clinckscale. Too many Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and Associates at work to name – but know that he loves you all.Special Friends; Raymond Bornstein and Nathaniel Jones.Don’t cry for me, I lived life to the fullest. I loved to the fullest too. I’ve had ups and downs but never forgot the streets of Green Valley. Though it may seem hard for a while, just blow me a kiss and say, ” I will see you later”.
