Morton Galison

Morton Galison May 26, 1925 – September 5, 2015 Morton I. Galison, 90, passed away peacefully at Commonwealth Health & Rehab Center in Fairfax, Virginia, on September 5, 2015. He was born in 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Benjamin and Pauline Galison. Morton served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a mining engineer, trader and entrepreneur, traveling extensively around the world for his many business ventures. Morton was an avid reader, loved music and art, and cherished his family. Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Rita Pollinger and Eleanor Schwartz, and his son, Paul Galison. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Savory, son Ben Galison, daughter-in-law Sabrina Hollander, and grandchildren Zachary, Matthew and Ellie.
