Nahom Beyene, 42, of Falls Church, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on December 31st, 2022.
Nahom was born on January 31, 1980, to Fessehatsion Beyene and Aida Abraha in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After Nahom graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in Orangeburg, SC in 1999, he studied for a year at South Carolina State University. He later obtained his training and certification in mold remediation, water damage restoration, duct cleaning and carpet & upholstery cleaning, which became his passion. Through Nahom’s hard work, dedication, and charismatic personality he progressed quickly in his field and always aimed to provide his customers with the best service. He aspired to one day open his own business doing what he loved to do.
Nahom’s mission in life was to love and show kindness to all that crossed his path, whether it was taking a road trip, watching a football game, shopping, random trivia games, going to amusement parks, going out to eat or just sitting and keeping someone company. No matter what the activity, he loved spending time with friends and family.
Nahom has 3 beautiful children that he leaves behind, Ellena, Olivia, and Nahom.
Nahom was predeceased by his parents Fessehatsion Beyene and Aida Abraha. He is survived by his two sisters, Zebib and Atenie, and one brother, Teferi and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Services will be held at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home on January 11, 2022. The Viewing will be held from 9 am to 10:45 am, and the Funeral Service will be from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. After the service, all attendees will continue to Mount Comfort Cemetery for the burial at 1:00 pm.
