Phebe Brownlee Payne

Phebe Brownlee Payne died December 27, 2011 in Woodbridge, VA. Phebe was a World War II veteran of the Woman?s Army Corp. She is survived by her husband, G.C. ?Jack? Payne, Jr.; two daughters, Crystal Calise Georgeof Cotuit, MA and Virginia Jean Payne of Cary, NC; two sons, Jack Robin Payne Paulaof Rixeyville, VA and George Brownlee Payne Janet Pendergraph of Lake Ridge, VA; and two sisters, Jean Fry of Mason City, IA and Bernita Noble of Sioux City, IA. Also survived by three grandchildren, Michael Payne , Meredith Stotzner, Danielle Viens-Payne; and two great grandchildren, Pierce and Halycon Stotzner. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA. Inurnment at Quantico National Cemetery will be at a later date.
