Sara Luise Culbertson

Sara Luise Meisner CulbertsonOn January 29, 2009 in Woodstock, Virginia. Sara Luise was primarily a homemaker, wife and mother of five children. In her early years she worked at the Pentagon, later joining her husband in real estate. Her consuming hobby interest was flower arranging. She was an accredited flower show Judge which found her judging flower shows throughout the metropolitan area. For many years she prepared elaborate flower arrangements for the monthly receptions at T.H.I.S., a welcoming group for newly appointed diplomats to the nations?s capitol. Sara Luise was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Zehnder Culbertson. She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Culbertson; one daughter, Anne Wennerstrom; three sons, John Griffith Culbertson, Gregory Meisner Culbertson, and Dreux Liebert Culbertson; and one brother, Edwin Meisner. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mount Vernon Highway, Alexandria, VA, where a reception will be held following the services.
