Walter “Boo” Rumsey

Walter ?Boo? RumseyDied December 21, 2009 in Alexandria, VA. He was a member of the Henry Knox Field Lodge No. 349, The Scottish Rite, The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 871, and The American Legion, Post 24. Boo was preceded in death by his wife Leona ?Frankie? Rumsey, his children Tere L. Rumsey and Richard M. Rumsey, and his sister, Mary Frances Knight. He is survived by his grandchildren, J.W., Cindy, Deanna, Chris, Kevin, Sara, and Kelly. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A celebration of Walter?s life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment to follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Virginia.
