Wanda Marie Jarmon, daughter of Olaf and Lorna Snyder Horneland, passed away on November 22, 2023 in Alexandria, Virginia, at the age of 83.

Wanda is survived by her children, David Jarmon of Cortez, Colorado, and Katherine Jarmon of Alexandria, Virginia; her sister, Yvonne Olson of Cortez, Colorado; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Wanda graduated from Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia and St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She also earned an M.B.A from the University of South Carolina. She worked as an accountant for local governments, most recently for Prince William County, Virginia, from which she retired as a Senior Accountant.

After her retirement, she spent her time happily gardening. She was a Master Gardener and a member of the Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia.

Services will be private.
